OAS Supervisor Utilities: Building management powered by Niagara®

Newsletter

Embedded in the Niagara Supervisor, the "OAS Supervisor Utilities Application" enables the rational, structured and partially automated creation of open BMS, energy management and SCADA solutions. Whether locally on the customer’s server, in the customer’s data center or as a cloud-based portal solution: the customer decides on which platform the application runs.

The "OAS Supervisor Utilities Application" is part of the OAS portfolio of controller and server products, software applications and tools based on the Niagara Framework®. The application is available according to the TRIDIUM SUP license in the following levels, each with any number of data points:

  • OAS-SUPUTIL_1: for one JACE integration platform,
  • OAS-SUPUTIL_10: for up to 10 JACE integration platforms,
  • OAS-SUPUTIL_100: for up to 100 JACE integration platforms,
  • OAS-SUPUTIL_UNL: for an unlimited number of JACE integration platforms.

It offers intelligent functionalities on server level for the structured and scalable integration of simple installations up to complex plant, campus, building and facility structures and integrates the technical building services across all systems. The also freely scalable integration of networks from platforms such as JACE, Niagara Edge or third-party systems are part of the OAS solution for the streamlined setup of a BMS or SCADA solution according to customer requirements.

The "OAS Supervisor Utilities Application" supports the guided setup of a hierarchical structure of the navigation tree for buildings and technical facilities in almost any depth on the workbench level. This allows the easy integration of properties, graphics and background images into the navigation tree.

All this makes our "Supervisor Utilities Application" a powerful engineering toolset for application development and configuration within the Niagara Supervisor. It delivers real-time graphical information to standard web browser clients and performs essential functions such as analytics, centralized data and trend logging, and archiving to external databases. It handles alerting, dashboarding, system navigation, master scheduling, database management, and supports the integration of various control systems and digital data sources
